Lara Worthington has opened up about her family, and superstar husband Sam Worthington, in a candid new interview
The mother-of-two spoke with Buro 24/7 about having two children, and how her life has changed since welcoming Rocket-Zot Worthington in 2015, and Racer Worthington in 2016.
On how her experience was during pregnancy, Lara revealed: โI was lucky that I had two great pregnancies and two healthy babies but pregnancy isnโt the hard part โ itโs taking them home! Youโve got the biggest responsibility of your life and thatโs all that matters to me. The first pregnancy is different because itโs something youโve never done before, and thereโs that what if, or the unknown, so I tried not to read anything because I didnโt want to know too much. I just wanted to take my own journey and experience it for myself.โ
As for juggling her makeup empire, her two children and her relationship with Sam, Lara said:
โYou know, my husband is amazing. He is a fantastic father, fantastic husband and weโre just a really good team. Weโve grown together and grown as a family and I think thatโs the most important thing.
โWe travel everywhere together and we never have more than two weeks apart from each other โ and that really works for us,โ she continued. โHeโs just so good with the kids, he does the night feeds and everything- he is seriously superhuman! And Sam will work a 17- hour dayโฆmy days seriously do not compare to his at all.
โHe also inspires me to be that kind of business woman / mum. Heโs always like, โyou can do whatever you want Laraโ and I guess when you get that support at home, you get that inspiration. It really is all about what comes from the inside out, and if youโre happy with your surroundings โ you can do it all!โ
Despite their current rate for having babies year-on-year, Lara doesnโt see a third child on the way in the near future.
โI think because Iโve done two back to back I need a rest, itโs full on and fun but itโs definitely challenging,โ she said. โYou have those days where youโre like โOMGโ. But I feel like that why Iโm here, to lead that legacy. I think for now Iโm just really enjoying my little family.โ
