So we couldn’t believe our luck when we stumbled across a behind-the-scenes clip of the singer-turned-actress treating some of the film remake’s cast to one of her most famous songs, ‘Bad Romance’.

A recently resurfaced video shared by Mashable shows the silver screen duo on stage following their characters’ first performance of ‘Shallow’ in front of a crowd of extras taking on the role of fans.
But it turns out, they didn’t have to pretend to be followers of Lady Gaga’s music, as they burst into cheers when the singer surprised them with a sweet rendition of her 2009 single.
In the viral clip, the 33-year-old tells the audience: “I saw some of the shots and my god, you look so beautiful. So have a great night, ok?”

Following a rupture of applause from the crowd, Gaga begins to sing the chorus of ‘Bad Romance’ while shaking hands with the audience.
In fact, if you look closely you even can see Cooper smirking from beneath the beard he grew for the role…
The critically acclaimed film not only pleased viewers across the globe (we’ve lost count of how many times we’ve watched it), but also bagged a number of seriously coveted gongs including a BAFTA for Best Original Music and two Grammys.
If that isn’t impressive enough, Lady Gaga graced the headlines after becoming the first person in history to have won an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA and Golden Globe within the space of a single year – bravo.
To celebrate their success, Gaga and Cooper took to the stage at the 2019 Academy Awards to sing their chart-topping single by the piano in a performance sure to go down in the history books.
