If you haven’t heard of La La Land yet, you’d best get it on your radar, because with critics tipping it as ‘movie of the year’, and seven Golden Globe Awards nominations, it’s the must-see movie this summer.
Following the story of aspiring jazz musician Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) and aspiring actress Mia (Emma Stone), it delves in the difficulties of relationships, love and pursuing your dreams. It’s a musical set in California, and is getting attention for its bright wardrobes, beautiful cinematography and stunning performances by Gosling and Stone, including a cameo from John Legend.
