Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima’s split seemed to come out of nowhere: the couple had just gone on a European holiday with Kourtney’s three children and seemed more loved up than ever.
Now, sources close to Kourtney have revealed the 39-year-old never wanted to end the relationship, but when photos of Younes with another woman in Mexico surfaced, she had no other choice.
“As soon as their long European vacation was over, they started having problems,” a source told People.
“Younes was in L.A. recently, and things were not great. He and Kourtney didn’t get along. They decided to take a break, but were not officially over. Now with the pictures of Younes in Mexico, they are definitely not getting back together…It didn’t end well.”
Despite fans hoping Kourtney would rekindle her relationship with Scott Disick, a different source said that wouldn’t be likely.
“This is not going to happen,” they told People. “Kourtney will never get back with Scott.”
However, Scott is definitely happy the relationship is over: “Scott is very happy Kourtney cut it off with Younes,” a source told E!. “Although he is happy in his relationship with Sofia [Richie], he never liked Younes for Kourtney.”
