Kim Kardashian West Opens Up About What It Was Like Returning To Paris After Her Robbery

The trip was an emotional one

Kim Kardashian West landed in Paris on June 21st, two years after her robbery.

Kardashian West, who was tied up and held at gunpoint in her Paris hotel during Fashion Week, was robbed of US$5 million worth of jewellery by a group of men dressed as policemen.

We bore witness to the aftermath of the traumatic armed robbery on season 13 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and now the reality star has returned to the city for the first time since her terrifying experience.

Kardashian West travelled with her husband Kanye West, and sister Kylie Jenner to sit front row at Virgil Abloh’s debut collection as Louis Vuitton’s new menswear artistic director.

Kardashian West was in Paris for just 12 hours before returning to the State’s for Teyana Taylor’s listening party, an album which Kanye West produced.

Kim revealed on her app that her return to Paris was an emotional one.

“It was such an emotional trip! For me, it was the perfect time to come back to a place where I fell in love, but also a place where I suffered great trauma,” Kim wrote.

The star revealed that she has moved on from the incident and has been able to overcome her fears and heal.

“Emotionally, I feel calm. I’ve truly put the experience behind me and have learned and grown from it.” Kim went on, “Because of this, mentally coming back to Paris wasn’t difficult for me. It feels refreshing to face my fears and overcome them.”
