Kim Kardashian is under fire for promoting Flat Tummy Co appetite suppressant lollipops on her Instagram, in a paid-for post that claims the products are โ€œliterally unreal.โ€

The Instagram post, pictured below, reads as follows: โ€œ#ad You guysโ€ฆ @flattummyco just dropped a new product. Theyโ€™re Appetite Suppressent Lollipops and theyโ€™re literally unreal. Theyโ€™re giving the first 500 people on their website 15 per cent OFF so if you want to get your hands on someโ€ฆ you need to do it quick! #suckitโ€

After intense backlash from followers who accused her of promoting disordered eating, Kardashian removed the post โ€“ although itโ€™s since reappeared in her feed. Disturbingly, itโ€™s attracted more than one million likes.

Now, The Good Place star Jameela Jamil has slammed Kardashian on Twitter, labelling her a โ€œterrible and toxic influence on young girls.โ€

Jamil has spoken out about Instagram stars promoting weight-loss products before, telling The Cut, โ€œIf you call yourself an influencer on Instagram, youโ€™re going straight to the Bad Place. How dare you. What are you even influencing? Drink this weight-loss tea. F*ck off.โ€ 

The Flat Tummy Co.โ€™s social media advertisements have been banned in the UK, the BBC reports, and have not been evaluated by the FDA in America.
