Last week Kendall and Kylie Jenner were slammed by the mother of late rapper Notorious B.I.G after releasing T-Shirts which included his face on them without consultation.
While the girls since issued an apology via Twitter and the T-Shirts were pulled off of shelves, it appears the issue is larger than a social media slam.
The new line of t-shirts which were released as part of their Kendall + Kylie clothing line also featured photos of cultural icons such as Tupac, Jim Morrison of The Doors, and Ozzy Osborne.
As a result, Lawyers representing The Doors’ estate have confirmed that they will be pursuing a lawsuit against the Jenners according to a TMZ report.
According to Complex, the shirts were priced at US$125 and had already sold out by the time the controversy began.
This isn’t the first legal woe the girls have faced over their fashion ventures, in 2015 they were sued for copyright in regards to their PacSun fashion line, according to Page Six.
