Kendall Jenner Is Learning To Shoot To Protect Herself Against Stalkers

"I feel so targeted"

In the wake of sister Kim Kardashian’s traumatic hotel room robbery, Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian are keen to learn how to protect themselves against burglars and stalkers, they revealed on this week’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

During the episode, the pair visited a shooting range to learn how to be “knowledgeable to know how to protect ourselves,” as People reports.

“I feel like we’re so targeted and people are now breaking into our homes and stalking us,” Kendall explains. “I literally once a week have stalker, someone shows up at my house, they wait outside my house for me and my security won’t let me leave, they’re like, ‘these people are weird.’”

In October this year, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Bel-Air property was broken into, along with three cars parked in the grounds.

But despite the sisters’ initial enthusiasm – “I’m super happy Kendall and I went to the gun range,” says Khloe – they were quick to change their minds on gun ownership.

They’re first warned off by Kim, who is adamant her Paris ordeal would not have ended differently had she had a gun in the room. “I’m not Lara Croft,” she says, before adding, “I am not comfortable with it and I don’t want my kids around it. I would not want sleepovers going on here and knowing there was a gun here. I personally do not feel comfortable with it.”

Kendall and Khloe then call US non-profit organisation Everytown, which advocates for gun control, which convinced them not to buy home weapons.

“It was just a lot of numbers and scary and a little overwhelming and dark to think about,” Khloe admits. “I think the answer is not to add more guns into the world.”
