Speaking to The Telegraph, Knightley shared that she and her husband James Righton have named their new arrival Delilah.
The couple followed a similar protocol following the birth of their eldest daughter, Edie, whose name was kept private until three-months after her birth.
During the interview, the Oscar-nominated actress then went on to speak candidly about some of the challenges of motherhood, including fitting in feedings between other commitments, and getting the timing of her breast milk pumping schedule right.
โWeโre going to be apart for six hours in total, so I pumped three feedsโ worth,โ she explained during the interview.
โIf I donโt do it my boobs will explode. I mean, quite literally, itโs going everywhere. So, you know, thatโs not happening. The pump is with me. Itโs fine.โ

This isnโt the first time Knightly has been vocal on the challenges that come with being a mother. Earlier this year, she told Balance magazine: โI donโt think we give women enough credit for the physical and emotional marathon they go through when becoming a mother. I come from a place of amazing privilege. I have an incredible support system; Iโve been unbelievably lucky in my career; I can afford good childcare, and yet I still find it really fโ difficult.โ
