Over the weekend, thousands of Americans turned out for the #KeepFamiliesTogether marches across the US, all in protest of Donald Trumpโs controversial โzero-toleranceโ immigration policy which saw children separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.
While Trump signed an executive order on June 20 which put an end to the family separation, the immigration crisis is far from over โ it just means that from now on, families will be detained together.
Further to that, the families that were already separated, are still yet to be reunited.
