In the face of a crisis, what better to do than prove the haters wrong? It’s a tactic long been used by celebrities wanting to clean their slate and set the conversation, and now Kate Middleton and Prince William are trying their hand at setting the record straight by appearing in public as one big happy family.
Amid rumours that Prince William cheated on his wife, the royal family were seen out in force over the weekend. Smiling, playing around and looking very much in love, Kate, Will, Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their cousins, Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall and their daughter, Mia, to watch the Burnham international horse trials in Norfolk, which Zara also competed in.
In the photos, Prince George is seen riding atop Mike’s shoulders, Mia on Prince Williams’ and Princess Charlotte on Kate’s as they move around the field. Ever the future king, Prince George is seen holding a toy sword and Princess Mia is holding onto her uncle’s ears.
Kate Middleton chose to wear a Barbour quilted jacket, which she paired with her favourite black jeans and combat boots. Prince William looked all the part a royal with a quaint cap and matching khaki jacket — very on trend!
It’s one of the first times we’ve seen the family out together in months. And despite a missing baby Prince Louis, it’s was a nice Easter surprise for royal fans who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first child.
