Kate Middleton dressed up for a reception in Belfast during her surprise two-day trip to Northern Ireland with Prince William. The Duchess of Cambridge sparkled in a shimmery, mint green dress by Missoni with a deep V neckline and sheer puff sleeves. The stylish royal completed the look with a nude clutch and pumps, with her hair in her signature blowout.
The Duke and Duchess were hosted at Belfast’s Empire Music Hall to celebrate young people making a difference in Northern Ireland. The festivities included a performance by the band LARKS and guests included “representatives from Northern Ireland’s business, arts and sport sectors,” Kensington Palace announced in press release.

Earlier in the day, the couple visited the Irish Football Association in Belfast, where the couple learned about the organisation’s outreach program such as Shooting Stars, which encourages young girls to participate in the sport, and Ahead of the Game, which supports clubs and volunteers dealing with mental health issues. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are known advocates for fighting the stigma against mental illnesses.
Later, they stopped by Fermanagh, where they became acquainted with the charity Extern at Roscor Youth Village, a residential centre for children referred by social workers or the Department of Justice. “The site provides a safe space to help and support these young people, with particular emphasis on outdoor activities and developing independent living skills,” the Palace said.
