The Duchess of Cambridge has brought one very special item to her visit to the Lavender Primary School in Enfield Town, England, on Tuesday. During a show-and-tell with the students, Kate presented a picture of her family. The photo featured herself, husband Prince William, and children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The image was the same photograph used for the Cambridge’s Christmas card last year.

The exercise was part of an initiative for Children’s Mental Health Week. Students were asked to bring in items that represented people or things that made them feel good. In addition to sharing her own item, Kate sat with the pupils and learned about their own treasures.
While at the event, Kate also opened up about George and Charlotte’s eating habits. She revealed Charlotte has a very fancy favourite food, telling students, “Charlotte loves olives.”
Charlotte doesn’t just love eating food—she likes to get involved in making it, too, Kate revealed to the kids. Charlotte and Prince George cook with their mum. Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, told royal reporters today that Kate “was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”
Disclosures about the royal kids are pretty rare during the Duchess of Cambridge’s outings. But they do happen: Last month, Kate revealed that Charlotte is “keen” on ballet during her visit to the Royal Opera House. She and Charlotte reportedly saw a pre-rehearsal performance of The Nutcracker before the holiday.

And last week, the Duchess of Cambridge told well-wishers she greeted in Dundee, Scotland that Prince Louis is a “fast crawler.”
Her last substantive update on Charlotte came in November when Kate told a crowd member in Leicester that Charlotte and George were super excited about the holidays. Generally, “they’re doing well, thank you,” she started. “They’re getting excited for Christmas time because they’ve started all their Christmas songs, and Christmas trees are going up. It was really sweet.”
