Jessica Alba has gifted us an honest and very relatable snapshot of her life while breastfeeding her newborn son Hayes Alba Warren.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the actress and mother-of-three posted a story of herself nursing her 7-week-old son while in a Target fitting room.
“Tired eyes,” Alba captioned the post, adding “Breastfeeding in a Target dressing room”.
As E News! reports, Target specifically allows breastfeeding inside its facilities; by Californian law, all mothers are also allowed to (righty) breastfeed their children in any public location.
36-year-old Alba has championed breastfeeding in public and has often shared snaps of herself nursing her little boy.
In an interview with TODAY, Alba spoke about the exhausting pressures to be perfect while raising children with her husband, Cash Warren.
“Any mom who all of the sudden has little people that rely heavily on them for survival needs to maintain her own sense of self,” she explained.
“You need to cut yourself some slack and bite off what you can chew. Things will be compromised and you just have to be okay with that.”
We couldn’t agree more.
