Sorry to break it to you, but another Hollywood heartthrob is off the market. Jake Gyllenhaal has quietly been dating French model Jeanne Cadieu for the past eight months – since at least December – and the couple is now starting to get serious.
23-year-old Cadieu has reportedly now met her actor beau’s family with Page Six reporting that the pair took a trip to Martha’s Vineyard together. Cadieu has also attended previews of Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge’s Broadway play Sea Wall/A Life, as well as the Spider-Man: Far From Home premiere in June and both Gyllenhaal and Cadieu attended a Cartier party together in Paris back in April.
Despite the couple’s 15 year age gap (Gyllenhaal is 38), sources told Us Weekly in December that “Jeanne is very mature for her age” and that “She and Jake really took things slow, but are now pretty serious.”
The private couple hasn’t yet made their romance Instagram official, in fact, they don’t even follow each other on the social media platform.
Recently, Gyllenhaal opened up about wanting to become a father one day. Speaking about his new broadway play with Willie Geist on Sunday TODAY, he said, “It’s really actually about two fathers and about, for my character, someone who’s just about to become a father… I’ve learned — you know, I am not a father. I do hope to be a father one day.”
