Ivanka Trump Has Removed All References To “Empowering Women” From Her Twitter Profile

At least she’s being honest

As the fight for women’s rights escalates around the world (the weekend’s women’s marches are a case in point), Ivanka Trump appears to be taking a different tack.

If her freshly updated Twitter page is any indication, Ms Trump has other priorities for 2018: she’s deleted her previous bio, which described her as “a passionate advocate for the education and empowerment of women and girls”, according to US Vogue, to this: “wife, mother, sister, daughter. Advisor to POTUS on job creation + economic empowerment, workforce development & entrepreneurship.”

Bustle points out that Trump made the by-no-means-insignificant change on New Year’s Day, but it’s attracting attention worldwide in the wake of the recent women’s marches.
