Rohit Khandelwal has just been crowned 2016’s Mr World.
The 26-year-old Indian model just beat out 46 contestants to take the crown (well from what we can tell it doesn’t appear that the men actually get a crown…) at the event held in Southport, UK.
“Humbled to be the first Asian, Indian to win Mr.world 2016,” Khandelwal said after his win.
“Lots of love to all who have been supporting and following my journey. I can’t express how much I have been motivated from every message I see.. Love you all.

“My journey has been a journey of transformation and I give entire credit to people I crossed my path with who only helped me to become a better human being.”
The 12-day competition saw contestants compete in events ranging from physical capabilities to fashion sense, and of course there was a talent component.
Winners were selected by a judging panel combined with votes from the public.
Khandelwal worked as a technical support assistant in Hyderabad, India before moving to Mumbai to study business and pursue his dream of acting and modeling.
