Hugh Jackman has revealed that his beloved mother-in-law, Fay Duncan, has passed away.
The actor took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness’ mother, whom he describes as “one of the greatest women I’ve ever met.”
“I’m blessed to say Fay Duncan was my Mother in Law,”he wrote.
“She was one of the greatest women I’ve ever met. Wise, funny, loving, cheeky, generous, and a true leader.
“She had an incredible gift for always being right …. which must have been a true burden for her as she was also incredibly patient with us mere mortals.
“Fay, I love you more than words can express. HJ.”
Fay is believed to have been unwell for some time, with the couple and their two children, Oscar, 16, and daughter Ava, 10, returning home to Melbourne to be by her side.
