Game of Thrones is undoubtedly one of the biggest TV shows ever created, so it comes as no surprise that its actors – the ones who managed to survive the past seven seasons – are making serious money each episode.
In Variety‘s 2017 salary survey, in which they estimate the paychecks of TV’s most famous stars, the outlet revealed that Game of Thrones actors Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), and Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) all make the same amount per episode: a cool $500,000.
That’s right, half a mill in each of their pockets each time GoT graces our screens, and a total of $6.5m each 13 episode season.
The only two actors above the cast of Westeros were Robert De Niro, who’s set to make $775,000 per episode of his new untitled show with Amazon, and Mark Harmon, who makes $525,000 per episode of NCIS.
