Former Disney star Hilary Duff is giving audiences a glimpse of her grittier side, taking on the role of Sharon Tate for an upcoming movie.
Duff, 30, will play Tate in psychological thriller, The Haunting Of Sharon Tate, produced by Skyline Entertainment, Deadline reports.
Tate was murdered in her Hollywood home by members of Charles Manson’s cult in 1969. She was eight months pregnant at the time of her death, and married to director Roman Polanski.
Duff is completely transformed in the role, as evidenced by this slightly spooky selfie:
The Haunting isn’t the only Sharon Tate film in the works – Margot Robbie is said to be in talks to play Tate in an upcoming film with Quentin Tarantino at the helm.
