Hughesy and Kate will replace Hamish and Andy when their radio show finishes up at the end of 2017.
Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek will leave KIIS FM and head over to the Hit Network in 2018 to replace Hamish Blake and Andy Lee to fill the 4:30pm to 6:30pm time slot.
“We are delighted one of radio’s most enduring and hilarious duets, Hughesy and Kate, are joining our new Drive line up for 2018,” the Hit Network confirmed.
‘Carrie and Tommy’ hosted by The Project’s Carrie Bickmore and comedian Tommy Little will fill the 3pm to 4:30pm time slot on Hit.
So who will replace Hughes and Langbroek?
Rising radio personalities ‘Will & Woody’ aka Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw will move to KIIS in 2018 for the drive shift.
The boys from Melbourne currently host Perth’s Hit 92.9 breakfast show in Perth.
“Today’s first phase of announcements is part of a new strategic direction that has been in the planning for 12 months and will see a re-energised and even more competitive ARN in 2018 and beyond,” ARN’s National Content Director, Duncan Campbell said.
