It seems reality TV shows have become a place for contestants to find love not only with each other, but with celebrities fans who are watching. First, Sarah Hyland tweeted that she thought former The Bachelorette USA contestant Adam Wells was good looking, which led to the two dating, before announcing their engagement last month, and now it appears Gigi Hadid is on a similar path.
After following The Bachelorette favourite Tyler Cameron on Instagram last week, the 24-year-old was spotted out on a date with the show’s runner-up in New York City last night. After a text exchange was shared on social media with someone saying Gigi and Tyler were sitting next to them at Soho House in Brooklyn, another person shared a photo of the pair at the reception desk.
Of course, people who have stayed up to date with America’s version of the dating show will already know why Gigi and Tyler’s date was extra eyebrow-raising: just last week Tyler was spotted leaving The Bachelorette, Hannah Brown’s, LA home, prompting rumours the two had rekindled their romance outside of the show (Hannah left the show’s winner Jed straight afterwards – but that’s another story).
Whether Gigi and Tyler are this year’s reality TV meet celebrity love story or not remains to be seen, but we’ll be watching this one for developments very closely.
