Game of Throne‘s made a spectacular return to our screens for the hit show’s eighth and final season.
The lady of Winterfell Sophie Turner reunited with Jon Snow, Bran, and Arya Stark to save the living from the white walkers and protect the iron throne. 17.4 million fans around the world tuned in at 11 am local time on April 15 to watch episode one, making GoT the biggest television show in history.
The Season 8 premiere did not disappoint. It was packed with so many moments that fans have been looking forward to for years. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) found out he was not, in fact, a bastard but secretly the Targaryen heir to the throne (he even rode a dragon!). We also got an emotional Stark siblings reunion, and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) even arrived at Winterfell – with Bran greeting him at the gate!
