A ‘Game Of Thrones’ Fan Just Fixed The Controversial Season 7 Storyline With One Plot Change

This makes so much more sense

Game of Thrones season seven provided a lot of the goods – an epic death (goodbye, Littlefinger!), Jon and Daenerys heated sex scene, a reunion between Arya, Bran, and Sansa Stark, and the first time pretty much every important character on the show was in one place, at one time.

While a lot had to happen in the short season to prepare us for the series’ final round, one storyline many weren’t happy with was Jon Snow’s idea to wander north of the Wall and casually capture a wight walker.

Not only did Jon himself almost die (don’t even get us started on the random reappearance of Uncle Benjin), Dany lost one of her dragons trying to save them all – which was then turned into a super freaky flying dead dragon and basically was the reason the Wall fell.

And, to top it all off, though they did complete the mission and capture a wight to show Cersei, the queen is still planning to betray them all, so ATM it’s looking like it was all for nothing.

But now a fan has come up with a storyline which – in our opinion – would’ve made the whole excursion over the Wall a lot more plausible.

What if it was Cersei’s idea for them to kidnap the wight?

YouTube user Media Muse came up with a video explaining her idea: Imagine if Jaime Lannister had been captured by the Dothraki and held prisoner by Daenerys Targaryen in episodes 4 and 5.

By having Jaime as his bargaining chip, Tyrion could have persuaded Cersei to agree to a truce until they deal with the army beyond the Wall.

Of course, before she would agree to said truce, Cersei would’ve demanded proof of the Wight’s existence.

Hero Jon Snow would’ve then volunteered to go on the mission and all would be as it now is.

Better, right?
