After announcing her engagement after a whirlwind romance in November, Tony Abbott’s daughter, Frances Abbott, has married former Olympic rower, Sam Loch. The couple held their wedding on Valentine’s Day.
Both Abbott and Loch have taken to Instagram to share their happy news, posting the below photos:
Their captions suggest they have postponed their reception for a later date. They clearly like to do things quickly – they were together for just two weeks before Loch proposed, with Abbott writing the below on Instagram:
“Two weeks was all it took to know that forever with you was a mighty fine idea. #engaged #feyoncé #crazyinlove… #whywait #letsdothis.”
Abbott made headlines last year when she came out in strong support of same-sex marriage, defying her father, former Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s, stance on the issue.
