Despite being crowned the world’s youngest self-made billionaire thanks to her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Jenner surprisingly wasn’t the celebrity who made the most cash this year. The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan came in second place to none other than Taylor Swift, who took out Forbes highest-paid celebrity list after making a whopping $185 million ($265 m AUD) in 2019 alone.
But it’s not all bad: 21-year-old Jenner raked in a cool $170 million this year ($244 m AUD) – $100 m more than her older sister, Kim Kardashian, who ranked at no. 26 with a yearly income of $72 million ($103 m AUD). Kim and Kylie are the only KarJenners in the top 100, but both of their partners also made the cut: Kanye West ranked in third place, just one spot below his sister-in-law Jenner with earnings of $150 million, while Kylie’s rapper boyfriend Travis Scott was in 39th place with $58 million. Talk about power couples.
Other notable inclusions to the list were Ed Sheeran at no. 5 with $110 million earned this year and J.K Rowling who got 13th place with $92 million. Husband and wife Jay Z and Beyonce tied at number 20, earning $81 million each, while Chris Hemsworth came in at 24th with $76.4 million.
Surely, someone can spare a small $1 million?! Call me.
