Looks like Serena Van Der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf are back… kind of.
It’s been four years since we bid farewell to the precious New Yorkers, and now HBO have announced they’re developing a similar show called Prep.
The network acquired the rights to the 2005 book by Curtis Sittenfeld, and it will be brought to screen with the help of former 30 Rock writer-producer Collen McGuiness, and Game Of Thrones executive producer Carolyn Strauss. Talk about some television heavyweights!
The show follows a Midwestern girl’s coming of age story as she moves to an exclusive New England boarding school.
We will surely be able to expect new friends and enemies, new fashion and most importantly new teen relationships to root for! We could not be more excited for the 2016 version of Dan and Serena.
The star of the book is Lee Fiora, who is guaranteed to be the new queen bee of our screens!
We wonder how Blair would feel about the crown being passed onto someone else?
