In a new interview with Shape magazine, she revealed the workouts she canโt live without (but has to anyway).
She spoke to the fitness magazine about how her fitness regime has adapted after having kids.
โIn some ways, itโs been more challenging to get back in shape after my second daughter. Yet itโs not as hard as I thought it would be, because Iโm always running around with the kids. I never sit downโIโm on the move all day.โ

She added, โI love doing intervals, like running and sprinting, and I see great results with that versus the 30 or 45 minutes of steady cardio I used to do on the treadmill. Between intervals, I lift weights. Right now Iโm sticking to light weights because I have a herniated disc in my lower back. Itโs pretty severe, and I have to work around it.โ
Unfortunately she canโt do all the workouts she would want to at the moment.
โI love squats, but Iโve been told that I have to do lunges instead of squats for the time being. I know a lot of people wouldnโt find that heartbreaking, but I really do!โ

She mentioned that her weakness when it comes to sweet foods is Cadbury chocolate eggs โ particularly difficult to resist as Easter is coming up!
โThe mini ones and the big ones with the filling,โ she said.
Her husband Ryan Gosling was nominated for Best Actor at the Oscars this year, but unfortunately she couldnโt be there to share the moment with him this time.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes rarely make red carpet appearances together, so the Oscars isnโt really an exception to the rule. The actress opened up about why sheโs just not a โred carpetโ person, and why she didnโt make it this year.
โWhat people donโt know about me is that I love being home,โ Eva says. โInstead of hitting the red carpet, Iโd rather be with our girls.โ
