Congratulations are in order for the loveable Emma Stone, who has today announced her engagement to partner Dave McCary. The Oscar-winning actress’ now-fiancé took to Instagram to share the exciting news, sharing a photo of the two smiling with the ring. The caption was simply, “💕”.
Emma and her Saturday Night Live writer and segment director beau have been linked since 2017, when the two were first spotted in New York City. Fast forward to this past January, the two enjoyed a glamorous date night together while making a rare joint appearance at the 2019 SAG Awards, where Stone was nominated in two categories.
It’s expected that the two met when Emma hosted SNL in December 2016. The two have remained very tight-lipped about their romance, but the actress did open up to Elle last year.
“My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older. I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids,” she told the magazine. “And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.”
