As the name suggests, the show will be a competition based on obstacle courses. According to The Daily Telegraph, the new program is backed by a big budget which Channel Seven hopes will compete for ratings against its rival Australian Ninja Warrior which proved to be a huge success on Channel 9 this year.

Bartholomew will co-host the show with Hamish McLachlan and the hosts have commenced filming in Brisbane alongside more than 200 crew members working on the team obstacle race.
