Manigault, who prefers to go by only her first name, gained notoriety when she starred on the hit reality show first in 2004 and again on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2011 and 2013. She was one of the show’s most controversial characters, pegged as the “villain” for her often volatile personality

This won’t be her first time working in the White House however it does come as a surprise as the former Democratic supporter worked briefly for Al Gore under the Bill Clinton administration however reports claim she left soon after due to “disruptive” behavior, reports News.com.au.

She also previously campaigned for both Hillary Clinton in 2014 and Barack Obama’s re-election in 2012.

Omarossa reportedly “changed sides” when Trump became a candidate and made headlines in September 2016 when she declared “every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump”.

“It’s so great our enemies are making themselves clear so that when we get in to the White House, we know where we stand,” she then told the Independent Journal Review in November.

“I would never judge anybody for exercising their right to and the freedom to choose who they want. But let me just tell you, Mr Trump has a long memory and we’re keeping a list.”

Trump’s inauguration is due to take place on January 20.
