Delta Goodrem Is Returning To Television

The former Neighbours star is making her TV come back

Delta Goodrem has delighted fans by announcing that she is making a come back to the small screen.

The singer, who starred on Aussie soap Neighbours as aspiring musician Nina Tucker from 2002 until 2005, has joined the cast of House Husbands.

The 31-year-old is set to star in the fifth series of the Channel Nine show.

“I couldn’t be happier to join the amazing House Husbands family,” Delta said in a statement released by the network. “It’s such a fantastic Aussie drama that I love – and my whole family loves – so I feel very lucky and cannot wait to get started.”

She will play Izzy Dreyfus – a reading recovery teacher at Nepean South Primary School. 

According to her bio, Izzy is “brilliant, beautiful and slightly tomboyish”, while the character both “excites and frightens everyone”!
