With all the Critics Choice news flying about, you might have missed one of the biggest stories from Hollywood today – Chris Pratt is engaged to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
Chris and Katherine have been dating for around seven months. They were first seen out and about together during a picnic on Father’s Day, but the couple only made their relationship official when Chris shared a picture of Katherine on Instagram to wish his other half a happy birthday.
At the time, he wrote: “Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care.”

And it looks like things are moving quickly, with Chris now confirming that they’re engaged.
He shared a photo where Katherine is proudly showing off a huge sparkler, writing: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Chris was previously married to actress Anna Faris for eight years before they split in 2017. They share a son together, five-year-old Jack, and have candidly spoken about co-parenting since their divorce.
During an episode of her podcast, Unqualified, Anna said: “Chris and I work really hard ‘cause we have Jack, that is sort of the long game idea and making sure Jack is really happy, which makes us really happy.
“We have sort of the luxury of circumstance. You know, we are both in other loving relationships…But It’s like, how do you not in general sink into a place of bitterness?”
Faris also commented on Chris’ Instagram announcement, writing: “I’m so happy for you both.”
Chris recently told E! Entertainment: “Divorce sucks. But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much.
“And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better.”
