On October 17th, Chanel unveiled the fifth chapter of its Mademoiselle Privé exhibition at the B&C Hall-Tennoz in Tokyo. The travelling exhibition has already been to London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Seoul – and while the Fashion House’s intent remains the same, the design changes each time.

Through a revisited and exclusive scenography, the exhibition puts into perspective the creative work that goes on behind the Studio door marked with the words “Mademoiselle Privé”, and the imagination expressed behind the mirrored door of the apartment, that has, in Tokyo, become one and the same intimate space, exalting CHANEL’s designs from its three original creative worlds: Haute Couture, forever synonymous with the essence of the House and reinvented for every collection by Karl Lagerfeld and now Virginie Viard, the legendary perfume N°5 that was created in 1921, and High Jewelry with the reedition of “Bijoux de Diamants”, Gabrielle Chanel’s one and only collection designed in 1932.
To enhance the visitors’ experience Chanel launched a dedicated new “CHANEL official” Line account, a minisite and an app under the name of “Mademoiselle Privé” exhibition on which they can upon registration receive and enjoy various information and content.
