Kim Kardashian’s ode to Whoville caused a stir on Twitter with her commitment to all things minimal lost on fans.
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham reminded us that she sure knows how to crack a smile after proudly adding a miniature Posh Spice as the tree topper in her London store.
In need of some last-minute inspiration or simply fancy a merry little scroll?
From Jennifer Garner to Khloe Kardashian, these are the most memorable celebrity Christmas decorations of 2019.
Jennifer Garner
Forget the North Pole, Santa resides in the Hollywood hills and goes by the name of Jennifer Garner, as the actress just schooled us all in the art of seasonal decoration.
Her and former husband Ben Affleck headed out Christmas tree shopping together in late November but seem to have ordered the wrong sized fir.
The mother-of-three took to Instagram to share a sneak preview of her family Christmas tree and couldn’t keep a straight face.
Introducing us to the term ‘big tree energy’, the 47-year-old uploaded a clip of the gigantic fir currently sat (read: overtaking) the hallway.
“So I told my kids we could go bigger because we’re in a rental house and it has a really big foyer,” she says in the video. “But then it was delivered and I’m not sure this was the tree we picked out.”
Plenty of room for pressies, huh?
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian broke the Internet (once again) when she unveiled the seasonal decor currently sitting in the Kardashian-West home.
Taking to Instagram Stories, the reality television star took fans on a tour of her mansion – comparing her divisive decorations.
“I love these,” Kim said in the clip. “They’re so whimsical, like Whoville, but all white.”
But fans were quick to point out that the incredibly minimal designs look like, erm, tampons. Or perhaps toilet paper?
“Just stick a tree with lights and tinsel up and be done with it,” one social media user wrote on Twitter.
Kendall Jenner
Meanwhile, sister Kendall Jenner has jumped down the traditional end of the decorating spectrum.
‘Tis the season for A-listers to find an excuse to showcase their extravagant homes on Instagram so naturally, the model shared videos of her lavishly decorated Beverly Hills pad on Stories.
The 24-year-old is sure to be on Santa’s good list too after upping her enthusiasm for all things festive in comparison to last year’s snow-dusted tree.
Merry garlands are draped across the property’s balconies and fireplaces with a tree momager, Kris Jenner, is sure to approve of standing in the corner of what is most probably one of many living rooms.
Victoria Beckham
Not even Christmas can sway Victoria Beckham from her world-renowned love of all things minimal, as she put up a super chic (colour co-ordinated) tree in the family home – much to husband David’s disapproval.
The designer took to Instagram Stories to share a photograph of the Beckham’s tree and wrote, “Now, will Mr Beckham insist on more decorations?”
The mother-of-four did have a little more fun with the tree at her Dover Street store in London however with a Posh Spice figurine posing as the glamorous topper.
Donald and Melania Trump
We have to admit that Donald and Melania Trump’s 2019 Christmas decorations proved a little disappointing after the presidential couple left the Internet in stitches over their controversial blood red trees last year.
Playing the decorations safe this season, the White House has been kitted out in ode to “The Spirit of America” with a not-so-groundbreaking white, silver and gold theme.
Khloe Kardashian
The Kardashian family have award-winning designer Jeff Leatham on speed dial and the US designer sure delivers on the festive front every single time.
This year, Khloe Kardashian stuck to a powder pink and red theme in the family living room while her one-year-old daughter True Thompson got her very own bright pink fir.
“Merry Christmas everyone!” Kardashian captioned a photograph of True kissing the tree. “We starting decorating our house yesterday and @jeffleatham surprised True with this beautiful pink tree. It’s safe to say that True loves it!!! Thankful and blessed beyond words!”
Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner may have been late to join in on the festive celebrations but it was certainly worth the wait.
The makeup mogul took to Instagram Stories to share a sneak preview of her Christmas tree which is decked in fake snow and minimal baubles – the recipe for Instagram success.
Jenner later shared photographs of her bow-laden gifts ready for the big day.
