Underwood and Fisher already have a 3-year-old son named Isaiah Michael Fisher.
Despite being pregnant, Underwood remained working full-time up until Jacobโs arrival. The country singer even hosted the Country Music Awards last year, baby bump and all.
โYou just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise, that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family,โ she told People last April of finding balance. โThatโs what itโs all about.โ
Early last year, Underwood revealed she had suffered three miscarriages between 2017 and 2018. During an emotional interview with CBS Sunday Morning in September, she opened up about her challenging fertility struggles. Explaining her reaction to the heartbreak, the โblessedโ star said, โMy son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And heโs the best thing in the world. And Iโm like, โIf we can never have any other kids, thatโs okay, because heโs amazingโ.โ
โAnd I have this amazing life,โ Underwood continued. โLike, really, what can I complain about? I canโt. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No.โ
Congratulations to the new family of four!
