Carrie Bickmore announced the birth of her third child, a daughter, via Instagram on Sunday, December 9.
“Welcome to the world little ADELAIDE (or Addie as your siblings have already started calling you) We are absolutely besotted with you,” the post read.
It’s been an extra joyous time of her Carrie, who celebrated her 38th birthday last Monday, December 3. Bickmore and her partner Chris Walker are also parents to 4-year-old Evie.
The ‘Beanies For Brain Cancer’ founder also has an 11-year-old son, Oliver, whose father is Bickmore’s late husband Greg Lange who died in late 2010 of the disease.
In November, the television personality revealed that being pregnant in her late thirties is challenging.
“My body certainly feels sorer and more tired this time around. Must be age!” Bickmore jokes during a new interview with Who.
“I had Ollie in my 20s and it’s a different experience having a bub in my late 30s. When I had Evie, Ollie was 7 so I wasn’t having to carry him around, but this time round Evie is still little so it’s much harder looking after a toddler while I have limited movement!”
Carrie, who shared her pregnancy news in June, confirmed the news with a touching video alongside her partner and two children whereby she has filmed herself telling her young daughter Evie, “there’s a baby in mum’s tummy!”
