On last night’s episode of The Project, host Carrie Bickmore gave fans a little insight into her home life with a tidbit about her kids.
The mother-of-two revealed that her son, Ollie, nine, has a rather akward – yet hilarious – nickname for his little sister Evie, one.
“My son’s nickname for our daughter [Evie] is beaver,” Carrie revealed after a segment about animals. “I don’t know where it came from!”
“’Every time he [Ollie] calls out, I giggle,” she added, while laughing.
Carrie also gave a little insight into her parenting style, telling a story about how she let her son walk to school on his own for the first time.
“This is how much of a helicopter parent I am not,” she said.
“At lunch time my friend said, ‘And he got there OK?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, I think!’,” she continued, before adding she then called the school to check.
“So I emailed to ask if he made it to school and she was like, ‘It’s lunch time, it’s a bit late now if he didn’t!’”
