Everyone’s favourite comedy bros Hamish Blake and Andy Lee are packing up after over ten years on radio together. The question on everyone’s lips? Who will replace the iconic duo.
According to The Australian, Southern Cross Austereo has its sights set on none other than The Project host Carrie Bickmore.
‘Hamish & Andy’ currently airs on 43 stations and has a national weekly audience of 2.5million, but it’s not like Carrie is inexperienced in this kind of attention.
The successful host of The Project is a favourite among Aussies, and worked on Perth radio prior to her transition to our screens. She’s also currently working with funnyman Tommy Little on her own radio show with the Hit Network, filling the 3pm-4pm in capital cities.
We’d love to listen to Carrie and Tommy in the coveted 4pm radio segment!
Can’t wait to see how this one turns out.
