In light of Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, which kicks off in September, English model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne is urging women everywhere to talk more openly about their vaginas.
The Suicide Squad starlet recently fronted the Lady Garden campaign to raise awareness and inspire other women to talk about their gynaecological issues.
The campaign is run by a group of British women, including Chloe Delevingne, founder of the Gynaecological Cancer Fund and Cara’s older sis.
Aiming to “empower women everywhere to talk openly — without shyness or shame”, the team over at Lady Garden have been whipping up some affordable clothing which will be available for purchase at Topshop next month. 30% of sales are set to go towards funding gynaecological cancer research.
The 23-year-old model explained, “I’m just so happy I can be a spokeswoman and really help women to feel free to talk about their bodies and talk about these kind of problems. Everyone is beautiful and everyone deserves to be confident in themselves”.
Cara also made a startling confession about what she’s nicknamed her vagina during an interview about the Lady Garden campaign, and you’ll never guess what it is is…
…Randy Jackson! Yep.
