Just days after going Instagram official with girlfriend Ashley Benson and off the back of rumours the pair are moving in together, Cara Delevingne has addressed her relationship publicly for the first time.
Last night, the model and Pretty Little Liars star attended the TrevorLIVE Gala where Delevingne was asked on the red carpet why she finally went public with Benson on social media. โI donโt know โ because it is Pride, itโs been 50 years since Stonewall [Riots] happened, and I donโt know. Itโs been just about our one year anniversary, so why not?โ Delevingne replied.
When E! then asked if the clip meant they were Instagram official, the model said, โSure, I donโt like the official thing, but itโs a little something.โ Later, during her gala speech, Delevingne singled out Benson saying that she had a โvery special womanโ to thank, who โhelped me love myself when I needed it most.โ

โI also have another very special woman in this room to thank, and you know who you are,โ she started. โSheโs one of the people who helped me love myself when I needed it most, and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought.โ Delevingne ended the speech by calling Benson by a pet name: โI love you, Sprinkles.โ
Benson, who was in the audience, recorded Delevingneโs speech, sharing it to Instagram Stories and writing โLove you, Cara Delevingne. Proud of you.โ
