An Ex-Bachie Contestant Got All Frocked Up For The Brownlow… And Then Got Cut From The Guest List

She’s hit back with an angry Instagram post

AFL’s night of nights, The Brownlow Medal, took place yesterday, with as much sparkle and spray tan and thigh splits as you’d expect. But there was one dress we didn’t get to see on the red carpet, because its wearer, Natalie Sady, found herself cordially uninvited just hours before the event.

The ex-The Bachelor contestant (circa Tim Robards) had apparently been invited as to attend as someone’s guest, before she was told on her way to her final dress fitting that she’d been cut.

“Unfortunately due to one person’s mistake that only came to light this morning, myself and some others have been left in the lurch, and without the tickets offered to us,” Sady wrote on Instagram.

“An incredible amount of effort goes into walking the red carpet… With the help of many amazing people I had pulled together something truly special. I’d like to thank and apologise to @silvanatedescocouture@suziespraytans @jeanettemaree@loulashoes @thehairsprayqueen you have all been amazing.”

Sady told news.com.au this morning that “someone’s PA” had made the crucial mistake, and that she’d forked out a considerable amount of money getting ready for nothing.

“My last week has revolved entirely around the Brownlow,” she said. “I am out of pocket a lot of money… there are spray tans, manicures and pedicures… I had to cancel the makeup artist at a late stage.”

Sady said she’d made a last minute wine date with her sister for the evening instead.
