But now it seems the cast are banding together in the name of gender equality to help give co-stars Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik pay rises.

The cast are currently renegotiating for seasons 11 and 12 of the hit show, and according to People the five original cast members are willing to make $100,000 less per episode each to help out their co-stars.

Rauch and Bialik, who both joined the show in season 3, are currently earning a reported $200,000 per episode, but with the changes it could see them jump to $450,000.

The show, currently in its 10th season, is expected to be renewed for two more seasons.

“We’ll put it on for as long as everyone wants Big Bang on the air,” said CBS chief Glenn Geller at the 2016 Television Critics Association’s press tour last August. “I hope it lasts forever.”
