Thankfully, social media exists and Twitter users quickly went to work deciphering what Beyonce said as she embraced Meghan for the first time. The verdict? “My princess.”
Other than that downright brilliant sentence, Beyonce and Jay Z spoke with the new parents about Baby Archie. “The baby, so beautiful. We love you guys,” Beyonce said, before Jay Z gave the couple a piece of parental advice: “The best advice I can give you, always find time for yourself,” he said.
While we already knew that Beyonce and Jay Z are huge fans of Meghan Markle – the pair posed in front of a regal portrait of the Duchess to accept their Brit Award – over the weekend Idris Elba, who DJ’d at the royal wedding, confirmed the Duchess is a Beyonce fan – granted, who isn’t? – and that the singer even appeared on Meghan’s wedding playlist requests.
“There’s always Beyoncé on the playlist. You already know that!” Idris told Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner. “You already know that!”
