All The Best Race-Day Fashion From Stakes Day 2019

A wrap-up of the weekend’s best fashions on the field

Stakes Day is the final event in the Melbourne Cup Carnival calendar, and even after a massive week, the celebs were showing no signs of fashion fatigue. With a more relaxed dress code, the race day didn’t fail to deliver on style inspiration. Here are all the best looks from the Seppelt Wines Stakes Day at Flemington Racecourse over the weekend.

Anna Heinrich

Anna Heinrich has delivered us some of the best racing day fashion all season long, and this pale blue number was no exception. She wore a long-sleeve mini dress from Misha Collection, Tony Bianco cream pointy-toe heels and a Lisa Tan Millinery hat.

Kate Waterhouse

Race day royalty Kate Waterhouse went untraditional in a Dior print dress with thin straps, a deep v-neckline and a sheer skirt. A wide black leather Dior belt cinched her waist and she topped off her look with tousled beachy waves and a wide-brimmed white hat by Adelaide milliner Sylvy Earl. She also brought along her two daughters, who wore matching Burberry poplin sailor dresses.

Lindy Klim

Another racy Dior number, Lindy Klim showed off a black bodysuit and green sparkly gingham skirt with a waist-high split. Classic black stilettos and a chain-plaited headband completed the look. Lindy attended Stakes Day with her whole family in tow.

Snezana Wood

Snezana Wood brought the drama in a custom yellow Oglia-Loro dress and a contrasting purple Chanel bag. Her George The Label shoes were custom-made, too, and her large white hat was from Morgan & Taylor.
