Ellie Goulding’s Chloé wedding dress

Ellie Goulding wed Caspar Jopling in a starry ceremony held at York Minister in the north of England with the likes of Princess Beatrice, Katy Perry and Sienna Miller taking to the pews.
To walk the aisle, the songstress chose a bespoke gown crafted by Chloé creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi.
In keeping with the historic setting, the dress featured a lace-adorned collar and sweeping tulle veil – both embroidered with the newlyweds’ initials.
In a further nod to the big day, Goulding’s gown and radzimir petticoat also featured hand-stitched White Roses of York in tribute to her Yorkshire-born husband.
Due to the intricate detailing, the wedding dress reportedly took more than 640 hours to create with her veil adding a further 591 hours to the Paris atelier’s schedule.
Speaking about the design process, Goulding told Just Jared: “I was so thrilled and excited to collaborate with Natacha at Chloé on my wedding dress. I have loved the brand and their incredible team for years, so it only seemed right for Chloé to play big part of this special day.”
The Duchess of Sussex’s Givenchy wedding dress

In case you needed reminding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a history-making ceremony on May 19, 2018.
To grace the aisle, the former Suits actress chose a bespoke gown by her now go-to designer Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy.
According to a statement released by Kensington Palace, Markle first met the designer in early 2018 to collaborate on a “timeless” and “elegant” gown. In keeping with royal tradition, the dress featured an open bateau neckline, three-quarter length sleeves and a sweeping train.
Bringing a touch of Hollywood to the big day, the soon-to-be Duchess of Sussex borrowed Queen Mary’s Filigree Tiara which was made complete with an impressive five-foot train.
In ode to her future regal role, the five-metre veil boasted hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza – a touching nod to the 53 countries of the commonwealth.
Priyanka Chopra’s Ralph Lauren wedding dress

No celebrity wedding dress retrospective would be complete without name-dropping Priyanka Chopra who wed Nick Jonas in December 2018.
The actress famously pulled off a slew of an estimated 11 outfit changes over the extravagant five-day affair.
For the Christian ceremony at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Chopra chose a Ralph Lauren gown which boasted a 75-foot veil.
Choosing the designer behind her dress wasn’t difficult however, as Lauren was “a part of [their] love story” after he dressed the pair for the Met Gala before they started dating.
“For the western wedding, we had been talking to a bunch of incredible designers, but ultimately when Ralph Lauren approached us, I learned that Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years – one for his daughter, his daughter in law, and his niece,” Chopra told People.
The wedding gown was no easy feat and reportedly took 1,826 hours to make.

To marry Josh Kushner in New York, model Karlie Kloss wore a bespoke wedding gown by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior.
The frothy dress boasted a boat neckline, sheer train and three-quarter length sleeves. Unsurprisingly, the haute couture number took over 700 hours to create.
Mandy Moore’s Rodarte wedding dress

Actress Mandy Moore eschewed traditional white for her wedding to Taylor Goldsmith and instead chose a millennial pink frock by cool-girl label Rodarte.
As though that wasn’t Instagram-worthy enough, the bride walked down a pampas grass lined aisle – every iPhone-bearing guest’s dream.
Pippa Middleton’s Giles Deacon wedding dress

The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa Middleton famously wed longtime partner, James Matthews, at St Mark’s Church in Berkshire, England.
For the world-famous gathering, the bride wore a bespoke lace gown by homegrown designer Giles Deacon.
The soon-to-become-iconic gown featured dainty cap sleeves, a sweeping train and victoriana neckline – a sartorial love letter to the nation.
