Following his split from Selena Gomez (and her reconciliation with Justin Bieber), The Weeknd was spotted leaving his ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid’s New York apartment.
Tesfaye, who dashed out of the building while speaking on his phone, reportedly spent “several hours there.”
Rumours immediately started circulating that perhaps the lovers, who broke up late 2016 after dating for almost two years, were reconciling, with sources revealing Bella never really got over her musician beau.
“She never really got over him. She is not looking to be exclusive with him now, just to be his friend. His schedule won’t allow him to stay focused on her – she knows this from past experience. She also knows he is talking to a few girls still. She reads what is put out in the news and that affects her,” E! News reported.
Now it seems that the pair is set to give things another go, for real.
Overnight, a source told Us Weekly that Bella and Abel “have been talking, texting and FaceTiming each other pretty consistently,” and that they will most likely soon be back together.
“Bella really missed him,” the source continued. “She’s happy with where things are and he is too. They are still totally in love.”
