Although Bachelor In Paradise‘s Jarrod Woodgate and Keira Maguire appeared picture-perfect in front of cameras, Jarrod reveals his relationship with the 32-year-old was under strain because of Keira’s obsession with Instagram.
Jarrod, 32, ended things three weeks ago after nearly nine months of dating, explaining his ex-girlfriend’s love of social media was the reason for their split.
“Her Instagram following is overwhelming and it was taking over our relationship. She’s purely Instagram-focused, and that takes up a lot of time.”
He added that when he and Keira, 32, would get together, he was not a priority.
“I’d spend two days a week with her and it [was] basically all Instagram-based. It’s hard because you’re competing with 177,000 other people that follow her, but I shouldn’t have to compete,” he explained.
Keira last week revealed to WHO she makes more money than Jarrod.
“She would earn over $1,500 for every Instagram post so it’s no wonder she earnt more than me, I’m on a really low family salary,” Jarrod says.
“When you’re living in my family home and not paying any rent or bills, money shouldn’t be an issue. But when it came to spending money, she would blow it on so much.”
