Ashley Graham Says She Has To “Fight Through And Break Down Barriers Everyday” As A Plus-Size Model

Unlike Kendall Jenner who can be selective about who she works for

Everyone walks their own path. For model Kendall Jenner, her high profile affords her the luxury of being selective about who she works with.

During an interview with LOVE magazine, Kendall said, “Since the beginning [of my modelling career] we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f*ck those girls do. More power to ’em.”

Despite saying her decision to not do so many shows was, in part, to prioritise her mental health, she received a lot of criticism by other models for her comment, who said they didn’t have the same luxury of being able to turn down work.

One model who weighed in on Kendall’s comments was Ashley Graham.

When asked by a caller on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live show about her thoughts on the matter, Ashley said, “Well, lucky for her. Because I’ve never been that lucky.”

“These tits and ass have just had to fight through and break down barriers everyday,” she added.
