Ariana Grande has arrived back in the States following the devastating attack after her Manchester Arena show in the U.K. Monday evening.
The explosion at Manchester Arena has claimed the lives of 23 victims, with another 59 injured and many other’s still being reported as “missing” by terrified friends and family.
Ariana, who has publicly said she is “broken” by the events, was greeted by her family and boyfriend Mac Miller at the airport in Florida.
“Mac waited for Ariana at the bottom of the [private jet] stairs,” a source told PEOPLE. “She looked distraught and like she has been crying.They hugged for a while before they headed to a waiting car. Ariana’s mum Joan was with her.”
Adds a separate Grande source, “It’s so, so sad. She loves her fans and is absolutely crushed and devastated as you can imagine. She can’t believe this happened. She just wants to be with her family and loved ones right now.
Insiders close to the singer told TMZ that she has cancelled her London gig on Thursday and has put then rest of the European trip on hold.
Ari had upcoming dates in England, Belgium, Poland, Germany and Switzerland.
Ariana’s manager, Scooter Braun, said, “We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act,” adding, “We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”
TMZ have reported that the pop star and her management will re-assess the future proceedings when they’re “emotionally ready”.
